Reviewing Sessions and Logs

After a meeting ends, Validia provides detailed session data to help your team review authentication results and investigate any flagged participants.

Where to Find Sessions

  1. Navigate to the Meetings tab

  2. Switch to Past Sessions

  3. Click on any completed meeting to open the Session Details Page

Session Details

Each session includes:

  • Participant List

    • Name and email

    • Role (candidate, employee, vendor)

    • Authentication outcome (Verified, Flagged, Failed)

  • Verification Data

    • Confidence score (0–1 scale)

    • Any anomalies (e.g., VPN usage or face mismatch)

    • Timestamp of each verification attempt

  • Meeting Metadata

    • Date and time

    • Meeting link (Zoom, Teams, Meet, Webex)

    • Duration and bot join time

Logs and Export Options

  • Export session logs in CSV or JSON format

  • Use the SIEM & Log Forwarding integration for automatic log ingestion

  • Each log entry includes:

    • id – Event identifier

    • bot_id – Source bot UUID

    • epoch_timestamp – Time of verification event

    • confidence – Score between 0 and 1

    • organization – Associated organization identifier

Alert Review

If any participants fail or show anomalies:

  • Alerts are highlighted in the session record

  • Alerts can be forwarded automatically to Slack or email (see Messaging & Alerts)

Best Practices

  • Filter past sessions by status (Verified vs. Flagged)

  • Use confidence thresholds (e.g., >0.8 = verified, <0.6 = review)

  • Regularly review flagged sessions to detect patterns (e.g., repeated VPN use)
