What is Validia's KYP?

Validia’s Know Your People (KYP) platform provides continuous, real-time identity authentication during interviews, meetings, and other live interactions. It helps you detect and prevent identity fraud by confirming that every participant is who they claim to be.

Why It Matters

Traditional authentication methods like selfies, voiceprints, and one-time checks are no longer enough. Generative AI makes it easy to bypass these with deepfakes or impersonators.

Validia addresses this by:

  • Verifying identity live during the interaction

  • Detecting deepfakes, proxies, and suspicious patterns in real time

  • Working directly inside tools like Zoom, Teams, and Google Meet

What It Protects Against

How It Works

  1. Users complete onboarding via a secure link

  2. Validia captures facial and voice bioprints for live authentication

  3. The Validia bot joins meetings and silently verifies participants in the background

  4. Flags are raised if identity cannot be confirmed

In addition to biometric verification, KYP evaluates location and network context for every session:

  • Logs IP address and approximate geolocation

  • Detects VPNs, proxies, and anonymizers like Tor

  • Flags location anomalies compared to historical patterns or expected regions

These signals are combined into a single trust decision: secure or insecure.
