Connecting your Google or Outlook Calendar in Validia

Validia supports calendar integrations with Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook to automatically detect meetings and schedule the Validia bot to join. This ensures authentication happens seamlessly without requiring manual setup for every meeting.

Why It Matters

  • Detect meetings that require participant verification

  • Auto-schedule the Validia bot to join at the correct time

  • Reduce administrative effort for your security and hiring teams

  • Enable continuous identity protection without changing workflows

Supported Calendars

  • Google Calendar (via Google Workspace)

  • Microsoft Outlook (via Office 365 / Microsoft 365)

How to Set It Up

  1. Go to the Integrations tab on the left side of the platform

  2. Scroll to the Calendar Integrations section

  3. Click Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar

You will be redirected to the provider’s login page to authorize access.

Validia uses OAuth2 for secure authentication. You will be asked to grant permission to read calendar events that include a meeting link.

After Connecting

Once you complete authentication:

  • You will be redirected back to Validia

  • Your connected calendar will show as Active in the Integrations page

Syncing Your Meetings

  1. Go to the Meetings page

  2. Click "Refresh Calendar"

  3. Validia will import all upcoming meetings that include a video link (Zoom, Teams, Meet, or Webex)

  4. The Validia bot will be scheduled to join each meeting and verify participants in real time

Only meetings with valid conferencing links will trigger authentication.

Common Use Cases

  • Interviews scheduled through an ATS that syncs with your calendar

  • Internal compliance or executive meetings

  • Vendor calls or partner discussions with external participants
