Live Listen is a new feature in the Validia platform for supporting phone call authentication. We like to say that Live Listen is the "Shazam for fraud". All you need to do is put your phone on speaker, click start, and we will begin producing authentications.
Looking at the interface, it is very straightforward! You have the option to target every biometric in your organization, or choose an individual biometric to focus on. The trade off, is that when focusing on one biometric you will get much faster results.
Once you click on "Start Listening" you will receive a request to access your microphone, and your recording will start. Every 10-seconds a new authentication will come through on the right-hand side. When you receive a successful authentication, it will include the biometric name and a confidence score.
When a biometric cannot be matched due to a different person speaking, or a deepfake being used, the tool will return "No match"
